Don't know but it works like any WiFi mouse so I don't see why the projector would matter

It should. This remote has worked on everything I've tried so far. Works in both Kodi for raspberry pi & Steam Link.

Works for me on my kodi

It worked with my MiBix which is also running Android TV OS. So I assume it should work with Shield. Be aware that the remote quality is pretty crappy and one of my batteries corroded in it after only a month.

I don't see why not - it is universal wireless - mice & keyboards work, so this should too

Applicable to the Chinese GM Android chassis. Very accurate and responsive (it is not necessary to click the button several times to complete the desired operation). I also like the fact that you don't have to point the remote control directly at the box (that is, no matter where you connect the receiver). The assembly and completion of the remote control was also much better than expected. It has a good weight / balance, and the tactile and audible response of the buttons is excellent. The buttons simply have a nice and solid "click", not those rubbery, soft and silent things you get with many other remote controls. For some people this may be a scam, but I like it as much as my father.

This remote solves the terrible original problem of the infrared remote control in most Android chassis, you have to keep the original remote pointing at a very precise angle: a small change, the remote stops working. This has no address and points in any direction because it is an RF type and it has a small receiver inserted into the box. He has no driver, no nonsense, and starts working immediately without problems. The build quality is very good. Use a regular battery. I really like it.

I bought this for Kodi on the Raspberry Pi and it works great! I plugged it in and it was already paired so it worked immediately. It loses a star because every now and again it stops working for a few moments. I cannot tell if that is an issue with Kodi on Pi or if it is with the remote but since my TV remote still works with CEC it is very likely to be an issue with the remote. Also, I probably should have bought a remote that had play, pause, stop, forward and back buttons on it, but for what it is, it works great.

I use it for Kodi on Raspberry Pi 3. Everything works out of the box. It does feel a little cheap and sometimes you need to press a button twice for it to register, but overall it is very good value for money. The only thing I wish it had is a dedicated play/pause button. Maybe a rewind/fast forward button, too. Using the ok button brings you to the menu where you can choose one of these, and it's fine, but not the best solution. You could probably reprogram the buttons, but the symbols will of course stay.
