    The round pad on the base does a good job of keeping the stand flat on most surfaces. It has a high quality finish and is very heavy duty. So far, it is well made and very satisfactory.

    It is sturdy, is adjustable, and also requires some force to knock it over. There is a rubber piece on the bottom that keeps it in place, but also minimizes any feedback on the table.

    I use it with my microphone and it works great. It adjusts to a perfect height and the heavy base is nice because my mic - is a pretty heavy mic.
